Viktor Ziskin

Managing Director, Galaxy Digital

Viktor Ziskin is the Head of Risk and Finance Engineering at Galaxy Digital, one of the world's most innovative financial companies in the digital assets space.

Prior to his current role at Galaxy, Viktor had a diverse career across a broad range of financial institutions, starting with various roles as a quantitative strategist at Goldman Sachs. After the financial crisis of 2008 he became a consultant leading projects for alternative asset managers and commercial banking clients, then joined the CIT Group as Head of Quantitative Strategies and M&T Bank where he oversaw and grew the Centralized Modeling group, responsible for all analytic and modeling efforts throughout the firm. Leaving banking for a FinTech, he joined Beacon Platform to start a new division focused on quantitative modeling and risk management for commercial and consumer banks.

Viktor is an honorary member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA) and a frequent speaker at industry events. He holds a B.A. in Astrophysics from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from The Johns Hopkins University.
