Joseph Cina
Former Head of U.S. Regulatory and Volcker Market Risk, Barclays
Joseph Cina is a market risk management professional with over 20 years of industry experience at leading Wall Street firms. He has served as the Head of the U.S. Regulatory and Volcker Market Risk team at Barclays, where he was responsible for ensuring that Barclays’ market risk framework complied with U.S. regulations, primarily the U.S. Market Risk Rule and the Volcker Rule. Prior to this role, he was a Director on the Equity Derivatives risk team at Barclays, where he focused principally on coverage of the Structured Volatility and Exotics desk. Apart from Barclays, Cina also served as a market risk manager at Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan. Cina was also part of the Model Validation team at J.P. Morgan.
Cina has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrophysics, and a B.S .in Electrical Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
