Gerardo Rios Garcia

Gerardo Rios Garcia is a final-semester Master of Science candidate in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, where he serves as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Officer and At-Large Representative for the Student Government of the School of Professional Studies. As a Fulbright Scholar, he is recognized for his leadership potential, cross-cultural adaptability, and dedication to public service. Gerardo's professional background spans consultancy roles at Marsh McLennan and Walter P. Moore, along with a summer internship at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Currently, he works as a Sustainable Energy Consultant for UNICEF, actively contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on energy access and climate resilience for children.
