Jason R. Cintron

Industry Expert; Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director; Minority & Women Contractors & Developers Association (MWCDA)

Jason Cintron co-founded the Minority & Women Contractors & Developers Association (MWCDA) in early 2019. His experience as a Chief of staff, Legislative Director, and District manager at the NYC Council has provided him with an acute understanding of policy and its impact on the public. As a consultant, Jason has worked with general contractors and trade associations to expand their outreach capacity and improve community engagement. Jason is currently an adjunct professor at New York City College of Technology, teaching Real Estate Fundamentals.

A Bronx native, Jason grasps the reality of minority underrepresentation. It is why he has committed to ensuring M/WBE construction firms remain viable and have the resources necessary to bid on projects successfully.

Jason holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & Sociology from the University at Albany and has earned a master’s degree in Urban Policy at Hunter College.
