Dr. Greg Witkowski on the Gates Foundation's Contribution to the Fight Against COVID-19

Dr. Greg Witkowski, Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Nonprofit Management, was featured in The Seattle Times sharing his thoughts on The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's role in the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in countries that are struggling the most.

Despite the public scrutiny that an organization as large and powerful as the Gates Foundation finds itself under, Dr. Witkowski believes the philanthropic organization will play a crucial role in supporting developing countries in their battle against the virus. 

"The Gates Foundation has also been a key player in efforts to ensure that diagnostics, drugs and vaccines will be available in poor countries at reasonable prices... I’m not sure who else would help provide these vaccines to nations who might not otherwise be able to afford them," he said.
