New SPS COVID-19 Hub Will Curate Virtual Events and Key Industry Insights

The Columbia University School of Professional Studies has launched COVID-19 Insights and Information to curate its dynamic, industry events and faculty thought leadership.

It will serve as a one-stop-shop for prospective and enrolled students as well as professionals seeking expert guidance during these unprecedented times.

Features include news and profiles of alumni, faculty, and students who are sharing their experiences and advice for navigating the pandemic in their respective fields. In addition, the hub will display the new SPS Industry Insights Events, a series of dynamic virtual events featuring the school's distinguished faculty and leading practitioners across a wide variety of fields and disciplines. Recent events have featured conversations about coronavirus through the lens of sustainability and public perceptions of science with Harvard science historian Naomi Oreskes and The New York Times science reporter John Schwartz.

The virtual events are complimentary and open to the public with advance registration. Recaps and video recordings of select events are available through the hub as well. The Columbia SPS channel on YouTube also provides a playlist of recent live streams.

The School of Professional Studies is continuing its commitment to providing access to leaders who shape industries, define professions, and help us understand our world. We invite all to keep exploring with us. Visit sps.columbia.edu/covid-19.
