Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). Sarah Ford

Associate

Sarah Ford is an adjunct ESL instructor for the American Language Program. Prior to working at Columbia, she spent two years teaching in Russia as a Fulbright fellow at Udmurt State University in Izhevsk, as well as one year teaching in Seoul, Korea. Within the United States, she taught two years as full-time faculty in an intensive academic ESL program at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and one year as an adjunct at Westchester Community College. Ford has earned a bachelor’s degree in German and Russian (2005), a master’s degree in Cross-Cultural and International Education (2010), and a certificate in TESOL (2010) from Bowling Green State University. In addition to second language acquisition, she is interested in language shift and indigenous language preservation.
