Asha Deepika Balla | She/Her/Hers | is entering her third semester at SPS under the Applied Analytics program.

Asha enjoys solving complex business problems using analytics to drive financial and strategic decisions. Her areas of expertise include R, Machine Learning, SQL, Statistics, and Finance. She also has experience with Tableau and Advanced Excel, which are essential for data visualization and financial analysis. Whether it’s mastering statistical concepts, developing machine learning models in R, conducting financial analysis, or building visualizations, her goal is to help students learn these concepts and gain confidence in applying these powerful tools to real-world scenarios.

Through the SPS Tutor program, she looks forward to connecting with students and helping them bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling them to become independent learners. By guiding them through academic challenges and providing clarity where needed, she aims to support their goals and ensure they gain valuable experience from this program. Additionally, she looks forward to deepening her own understanding through teaching, learning from the students she engages with, and building meaningful connections.

Fun Fact: Asha ran the San Francisco Marathon twice. Yes, 26.2 miles!
