Snigdha Sinha

Snigdha Sinha is thrilled to serve on the School of Professional Studies Student Government (SPSSG) at Columbia University, where she currently holds the roles of At-Large Representative and PR Chair. As an Enterprise Risk Management student with a deep passion for community building and education, Snigdha brings a spirit of connection and enthusiasm to her work. Self-proclaimed as a “Jack of all Trades, Master of Some,” she embraces a wide range of interests and talents.

Outside her academic and professional pursuits, she is an artist, Harry Potter enthusiast, and lover of diverse experiences—from drawing and playing the sarod in Hindustani classical music to trying her hand at horse riding and diving into classic literature. Her journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, leading to a 5.5-year career in IT within the financial services sector. Community has always been at the heart of her roles, and with SPSSG, she looks forward to weaving new connections and fostering unity within the Columbia community.
