Peter Koletzke

Guest Speaker; Author

Peter Koletzke’s careers have spanned two main realms. The first was in the performing arts, where he spent four years as a professional magician, then 15 years as a stage manager and technical director for various NYC modern dance companies, primarily the Murray Louis Dance Company. The second career for over 30 years has been in Information Technology where he served as a database analyst and consultant for a Silicon Valley consulting company. In that career Peter has co-authored eight McGrawHill books about database programming, and has presented at Oracle database user group conferences nearly 400 times, earning a dozen user group awards. He has also served multiple terms on boards-of-directors for local, regional, and national user groups, and was the Chair of and taught classes for the Database Track at Columbia University’s Computer Technologies and Applications certificate program.
