The workplace of the future will look very different than that of today: Some or many of the responsibilities that we have now will be automated and obsolete. Technology will continue to expand our networks globally. Who we work with will be more diverse.
At the 2019 Spring Forum, constituents from across the school and explored the future workforce and its implications for higher education, discussing how both education and leadership can adapt to meet the needs of the changing market.
The group discussion explored complex ideas including how educational institutions can utilize technological changes to prepare students for a successful future, how to advance leadership development in the new global work environment, and ideas to increase educational access and inclusion, so that everyone has the preparation and opportunity necessary to contribute at all levels.
