Tim Gillespie, Jr.

Tim Gillespie is a Wealth Management Development Executive and Head of the Academy for Wealth Management at Merrill. He brings more than 12 years of wealth management experience primarily focused on leading and developing financial advisors.

In his current position, Tim leads an organization focused on developing employees' knowledge and proficiency to accelerate performance and career growth.

Prior to his current role, Tim served in a variety of leadership roles with progressive responsibilities ranging from Associate Market Executive in Washington, D.C. to Market Executive of the Capitol Market in Austin, TX and Advisor Development Executive leading the company’s new advisor training program. His experience covers a multitude of functions including sales, professional development, recruiting, investment advice and client support.

Tim graduated from Suffolk University and he resides in Boston, MA with his wife, Lindsey, and their son, Declan.
