Duncan Szeto

Duncan Szeto has more than 30 years of actuarial and life insurance experience. He was the Chief Actuary of Presidential Life Insurance Company, with actuarial oversight responsibilities in various actuarial disciplines including financial reporting, financial modeling/corporate planning, product and risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also served in the company’s senior management team, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, Rate Committee, and Investment Committee. He currently manages the actuarial team at MIB Solutions, Inc.

Prior to joining MIB, Szeto served in various roles in Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLP., Athene Annuity & Life Assurance Company of New York, Presidential Life Insurance Company, Inviva, Inc., and Prudenal Financial, Inc. and has worked in various actuarial consulting and audit firms.

Szeto was a member of the Society of Actuaries' Examination Committee and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (“Academy”). He has also served as a member of the Academy's Life Financial Reporting Committee.

Szeto’s favorite motto is Columbia University’s own: “In lumine Tuo videbimus lumen.” (“In Thy light shall we see light.” –Psalm 36:9)
