Conrad Fernandes

Lecturer, Accounting and Finance; M.S. Technology Management

Conrad Fernandes serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Teledyne LeCroy, a leader in Electronic Test and Measurement instrumentation. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Asia Business Development for the Electronic and Environmental Measuring business of Teledyne Corporation. Teledyne is a provider of enabling technologies for industrial growth markets including aerospace and defense, deepwater oil and gas, oceanographic research, air and water quality monitoring, electronic design, factory automation and medical imaging.

Fernandes holds an Electronic Engineering degree from the NIHE (now University of Limerick) in Ireland and an MBA from the City University Business School (now Cass Business School) in London. He is currently a PhD candidate at the International School of Management in Paris. His research interests include the management of risk in Foreign Direct Investment.

He has lived and worked in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, and China, and is now based in New York. He speaks French and Mandarin Chinese well, and German and Japanese badly. Reflecting his interest in International Business, he recently presented a paper on the Venture Capital industry in China at the 2016 IABD conference.
