Kelly Frantz

Associate, American Language Program

Kelly Frantz is an associate at the American Language Program where she has taught since 2022. She teaches various courses, including Advanced Academic English for Graduate Students and Academic Writing for International Students. As a former Fulbright grantee (Ecuador, 2016-2017), Kelly has taught ESL/EFL for over ten years in the US and abroad. She also currently teaches TESOL/AL graduate courses at Teachers College Columbia University and New York University. She specializes in academic writing, legal English, and TESOL teacher training. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College Columbia University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Teachers College where she specializes in conversation analysis and the teaching of writing.
