Christopher Magno, CPA is a risk executive with over 20 years building and leading both strategy and risk functions at global Fortune 500 organizations. Currently he is the Head of Enterprise Risk Management at ADP, a global human capital management company. His previous roles at ADP include leading the Strategic Planning Finance function, and more recently, serving as Divisional Controller for both the Major Accounts and Retirement Services Divisions. Prior to joining ADP, Magno was a Director at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare (now Pfizer), where he led the Strategy function for the US business supporting brands such as Advil, Centrum, and Chapstick.
Before joining Pfizer, Magno was a Corporate Vice President at UBS Wealth Management, where he led the Business Development and Strategy functions for the Resource Management (RMA) online banking products and payments suite.
He has extensive experience in developing global strategies as well as using data analytics to measure and mitigate risks associated with those strategies. Magno is a regular speaker and panelist at New York area risk summits on topics including: linking risk to strategy, strategic third party management, and applying data analytics to risk sensing and has published several thematic investment research reports while with UBS. He is a founding member of the New York area ERM Share Forum.
Magno holds an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, a Bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College, and is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey.
