Zaur Nurtaza

Executive Director, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management

Zaur Nurtaza has over fifteen years of industry experience in wealth management and investment management.

Currently, Zaur is a first line risk manager at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he is responsible for credit risk oversight of client portfolios, covering securities-based lending and derivatives. Previously, Zaur was a performance and attribution analyst at different firms, including Morgan Stanley, TIAA-CREF and JP Morgan. During his career, Zaur automated numerous processes using desktop tools and programming skills.

In addition to his day job at Morgan Stanley, Zaur has been teaching mathematics, statistics, and finance, currently teaching risk management courses at Baruch College.

Zaur holds a BBA in Finance and an MA in Statistics. He is also a CFA charter holder and a certified FRM.
