Fall Update

At SPS this fall, all courses, other than pre-established online courses, will be offered face-to-face in our New York City classrooms. Some of these face-to-face courses will be offered in the HyFlex format to ensure that all of our students can make progress toward their degree requirements, if faced with delays due to student visas or vaccination effectiveness wait times.

Financial Planning Teaching Seminar

Start your journey as an adjunct faculty member or enhance your teaching ability in financial planning through intensive instruction by renowned faculty with real-world knowledge and practice in the field.

This online, comprehensive seminar is designed for instructors, adjuncts, and aspiring teachers in finance, accounting or a related field. The Financial Planning Teaching Seminar is offered jointly by the Columbia School of Professional Studies and the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning. 

This program will be offered online over the course of six weeks, so working planners and faculty members can participate without much intrusion to their schedule. The program's dates for 2022 will be announced in the coming months.

Those who have completed the program can upload their CVs to  teachingseminar [[at]] cfpboard [[dot]] org to be promoted to CFP Board Registered Programs. CFP Board Center for Financial Planning and Columbia University School of Professional Studies are not part of the hiring process for any faculty.
