Poorva Desai

Poorva Desai is a Master’s student in Applied Analytics at the School of Professional Studies. She has been actively involved in SPS Student Government, first serving as an At-Large Representative before joining the Fall 2025 SPSSG Executive Board as Secretary. She currently serves as President for the Spring 2026 Executive Board.

Poorva has a background in data analytics with experience in the insurance and consumer packaged goods industries. She has developed strong skills in data visualization, business intelligence, and using data to drive strategic decision-making.

As President, Poorva is committed to strengthening student representation, fostering collaboration across committees, and ensuring that student voices are effectively communicated to SPS leadership. She aims to lead initiatives that enhance student engagement, build stronger connections within the SPS community, and create meaningful opportunities for students to connect with peers, alumni, and faculty.
