The Career Design Lab (CDL) is a resource available exclusively to the students and alumni of the School of Professional Studies,  empowering them to navigate agile, purpose-driven, and meaningful careers in a global and evolving workplace. 

The CDL team provides support in your career journeys with individualized career coaching sessions that cover your overall career assessment, resume and cover letter writing, agile internship and job search strategies, personal branding, interview skills, career transitions, salary negotiations, and more.

• Up to 1 Year Out: Access to premium subscriptions (GoinGlobal, Vault, Big Interview, CandidCareers) | Access to CDL career fairs and networking events | Can sign up for six-part, small group career coaching sessions (offered every six weeks during the semester) | Individual career coaching sessions | Job board access
• 2–5 Years Out: Access to premium subscriptions (GoinGlobal, Vault, Big Interview, CandidCareers) | Access to CDL career fairs and networking events | Job board access | Can sign up for six-part, small group career coaching sessions (offered every six weeks during the semester)
• Beyond 5 Years Out: Access to small group career coaching sessions (offered every six weeks during the semester). Individual requests for services may be made to careerdesignlab [[at]] columbia [[dot]] edu.
