Meredith Lester
Principal, Korn Ferry
Meredith Lester is a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Executive Search practice and a member of the firm’s Global Sports practice, where she works with organizations to identify and recruit leadership talent across the sports industry. Lester joined Korn Ferry in 2018 after beginning her career in sports marketing and business development. Prior to Korn Ferry, she served as HR Manager at rEvolution, a leading sports marketing agency, where she oversaw recruiting, organizational development, performance management, benefits, diversity and culture initiatives. She previously worked in business development at rEvolution and began her career in Columbia University Athletics, with additional experience at WWE, Major League Soccer, and the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee. A former Division I First Team All-American rower at Columbia University, Lester holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia. She has also been actively involved with Women in Sports and Events (WISE), where she served as Co-Chair of the National Business Development Committee. Through her work at Korn Ferry, Lester brings a unique perspective on leadership, talent acquisition, organizational culture, and the evolving business of sports. Her experience spans sports organizations, marketing agencies, professional leagues, and executive search, giving her a broad view of the people and leadership shaping the future of the industry.
