Kenyetta Lovings

Lecturer, Sustainability Management; Director of Energy Policy, Compliance and Programs at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority

Kenyetta Lovings possesses nearly fifteen years of experience working in governments as an energy and project finance specialist. She is presently the Director of Energy Policy, Compliance and Programs at the NYS Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) where she oversees a state energy program for building efficiency and manages the demand response efforts of the organization.

In her previous role, Kenyetta led the sustainability and energy management program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). She also worked at the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) where she launched the Office of Affordable Housing Energy Retrofits (AHER). Kenyetta has experience working in local agencies at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) developing capital energy projects in courthouses, and at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) structuring green loans for affordable housing.

She received an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, an MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and is an MBA Candidate at Johns Hopkins University.
