Andrew Hawkins

Andrew “Hawk” Hawkins is a former NFL wide receiver, sports media personality, entrepreneur, and co-founder of StatusPRO, a sports technology and gaming company focused on using player data, virtual reality, and emerging technology to transform how athletes train and fans experience sports. An undrafted player out of the University of Toledo, Hawkins went on to play seven seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns after previously winning two Grey Cups in the Canadian Football League. While playing professionally, he earned his master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Following his playing career, Hawkins built a diverse career across sports, media, entertainment, and technology. He has worked as an on-air analyst for ESPN and other major media platforms, served in business development with LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill, and was an executive producer of Hair Love, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. Today, Hawkins is a co-founder and executive at StatusPRO, which has attracted investment from major technology, sports, and entertainment figures and developed immersive sports products using VR and player data. His career has earned recognition from Sports Business Journal, which named him to its 2025 Forty Under 40 class. Hawkins brings a unique perspective to the sports industry, having experienced it as an athlete, media personality, executive, entrepreneur, and Columbia Sports Management graduate.
