Her academic contributions extend to Columbia University's prestigious Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program, where she teaches Business Anthropology, an elective course she developed and first taught as a special topic in Fall 2025 before it became a fully approved course offering in Fall 2026. The course explores how ethnographic methods and cultural insight can help organizations uncover hidden knowledge flows, navigate organizational culture, and lead strategic change. The course equips students to apply anthropological thinking to real-world business, policy, and innovation challenges. Previously, she served as an Associate for "A Systems Approach to Knowledge Management" alongside Dr. Moses Adoko.

Jessica is a 2021 graduate of the IKNS program, where her independent research delved into overcoming the barriers to effective knowledge transfer within teams. Her cohort capstone project was conducted in collaboration with NASA's Apollo, Challenger, Columbia Lessons Learned Program (ACCLLP). Jessica holds a Master of Public Health degree and a B.A. in Anthropology with a Human Biology focus.
