Bioethics and Fetal Genetic Testing Make National News
Dr. Robert Klitzman was a featured expert on CNN and NBC Nightly News as medical researchers released information on a new genetic test that can be performed on unborn babies.
With a simple blood test for the mother and mouth swab for the father, doctors will be able to map an infant's DNA without invasive procedures like an amneosintesis. With these testing improvements come new ethical questions on how to handle test results that are less than perfect.
