Nikolas Katsimpras: Are We Addicted to Conflict?
Nikolas Katsimpras, a lecturer in the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution graduate program, spoke at the Evan Foundation’s Conflict Matters conference which took place October 21-23, in Brussels. The conference seeks to discuss constructive ways to manage conflicts on both global and local levels. He examines conflicts in terms of an addiction.
“When it comes to conflict and all those problems, are we addicted to it? Are we addicted to both the situation itself and to the responses we are used to using. My exploration about conflict specifically will focus and revel in the issue that would be the world views.”
