Kristen Baldwin

Kristen Baldwin is a senior human resources executive and trusted advisor with deep experience leading people strategy across global, highly regulated, and growth‑oriented organizations. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, HR Business Partner for US Pharmaceuticals & Global Corporate Functions at Cencora, a $300B, Fortune 10 pharmaceutical distribution company, where she partners with enterprise leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and transformation at scale. 

Previously, Kristen served as Chief People Officer at Selecta Biosciences, where she led people and integration strategy, Information Technology, and Internal Communications during a period of significant organizational change. During this time, she also held a dual appointment as Senior Partner at CEO.works, a cutting‑edge human capital consulting firm focused on helping executives unlock value through talent, organization design, and leadership.
 

Kristen spent five years at Bayer, where she held several senior HR leadership roles across the Americas. Most notably, she led HR for Bayer Pharmaceuticals Americas, spanning Commercial Operations, Radiology, and Pharmaceutical R&D. Earlier in her tenure, she served as Head of HR for Consumer Health North America, partnering closely with business leadership to drive large‑scale business transformation and culture initiatives. 

Before joining Bayer, Kristen spent seven years at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies in roles of increasing leadership and responsibility. There, she led the commercial business partner team, R&D Finance, and the transformation of Otsuka’s HR Operations function, including the implementation of Workday and SuccessFactors and the creation of enterprise‑wide talent management, performance, and cultural change programs. 

Kristen began her career in management consulting, providing her with a strong foundation in business strategy and value creation. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, is a certified Talent to Value Coach, serves as a faculty member in Columbia University’s Human Capital Management master’s program, and is a member of Columbia Business School’s Deming Center Advisory Board, where she contributes her expertise in human capital value creation.
