ALP Adjunct Instructor Wins Top Student Paper Award
ALP Adjunct Associate and Teachers College Ed.D. candidate Carol Hoi Yee Lo has won the Top Student Paper award in the Language and Social Interaction Division of the National Communication Association. Lo’s paper, “Wearing Two Hats: Managing Correction and Responding When Facilitating ESL Group Work,” explores a key challenge teachers face: providing correction to students while responding meaningfully to their input and needs.
