Moses T. Adoko, Ph.D.

Lecturer, Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS); Founder & CEO of MakAstro Tech & Services LLC; Former Chief Knowledge Officer, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

Moses Adoko, Ph.D. is a Lecturer for the Master of Science in Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. Dr. Adoko is also the Founder & CEO of MakAstro Tech & Services LLC.

Dr. Adoko recently retired from NASA as the Chief Knowledge Officer of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center after more than 25 years of service. At NASA, Dr. Adoko implemented a broad set of programs aimed at developing science, engineering, technology, project management and leadership capabilities and capacities, improving proficiency levels of performance, and assuring NASA Goddard’s strategic & operational readiness in support of mission success.  

He also served as administrator of the NASA Goddard Senior Fellowship program, a scientific and technical advisory committee that advised leadership on issues related to science, engineering, technology research, innovation, investments and strategy. The Senior Fellows Program is made up of distinguished scientists and engineers, recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to the United States space program.

Dr. Adoko equips CEOs, Directors, Managers, high-performing teams, projects and organizations with insights and tools needed to architect strategic programs, improve performance and drive transformative results. His work in transformative leadership and strategic knowledge management has consistently delivered sustainable business outcomes and organizational resilience.

Dr. Adoko has written a number of journal articles and served as faculty at The George Washington University in the School of Engineering & Applied Science.

Dr. Adoko is a recipient of various awards including the prestigious NASA Robert H. Goddard Award for Excellence in Analysis, Innovation and Creativity.
