Selina Zhong

Wanqi (Selina) Zhong [She/Her] is in her second semester in the Enterprise Risk Management program. Selina enjoys making intimidating topics — combinatorics, hypothesis testing, linear regression — feel approachable and even satisfying. She's especially good at connecting abstract concepts to concrete examples so they finally "click."

What Selina looks forward to most is helping tutees build genuine confidence: the kind where you not only get the right answer but understand it well enough to explain it to someone else. She knows firsthand that statistics can feel overwhelming at first, and she's excited to be a patient, encouraging guide through it. She's also eager to learn from the diverse experiences her fellow SPS students bring, and to grow together as a supportive learning community.
