Emma Rose Loftus

Emma Rose Loftus has over 10 years of experience working across all areas of human capital at technology companies, with a focus on mission-driven, growth stage SaaS products. She has built and run people functions from scratch at multiple venture-backed start-ups working across talent acquisition, human resources, people operations, and employee experience as well as leading teams. She is passionate about developing integrated processes that allow firms to attract, retain, and develop top talent required to achieve ambitious business goals and successful exits.
Emma is currently a Vice President, Human Resources Generalist at MSCI, which she joined via the acquisition of First Street Technology where she led the People Team.
Emma holds a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature from Colgate University and a Masters of Science in Human Capital Management from Columbia University. She’s excited to continue to be a part of the HCM community as a member of the faculty.
She is located in New York City and enjoys live music, crafting, and supporting independent bookstores.
