Eduard “Spike” Rivera

Lecturer

Dr. Eduard “Spike” Rivera is a Corporate Program Management Curriculum Lead and Faculty instructor for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Spike has over 42 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategy, and program management. He currently designs innovative, technology- and AI-based curriculum and simulation training to develop Project Managers, Executive Leaders, Organizational Development, and human capital strategy.

Since May 2014, he has executed classroom and virtual training and development to over 5,500 LM leaders, Program Managers, Engineers, and functional employees globally. Spike has conducted training in the US, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Abu Dhabi, and Poland.

Previously, Dr. Rivera managed and led an aerospace and defense program portfolio valued at over $505M, with 1,205 employees, covering 79 US Naval installations. He served honorably for 22 years in the US Air Force assigned to DoD Special Operations, SOUTHCOM, and the Air Force Intelligence Agency.

He holds a Doctorate in Management in Organizational Development from Colorado Technical University, a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a minor in Human Resources from Wayland Baptist University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
