Michael Roberts is an Adjunct Instructor at the American Language program. He holds an M.A. in TESOL from Georgetown University, a CELTA, and a B.A. in English and Spanish from Hampden-Sydney College. Prior to joining the staff at Columbia University, he had been teaching English abroad since 2006. He has taught in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to learners from all over the world. His research interests include task-based language teaching, needs assessment, language testing, and program evaluation.
