Jun is an assistant professor and program director of Sport Management at Arcadia University. He received a Ph.D. in Sport Management from Florida State University (2013) and also holds an M.S. in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University (2007) as well as a B.B.A. in Sports Management and a B.S. in Physical Education from Kyung Hee University (2004).
He has published in academic journals such as Journal of Sport Management, European Sport Management Quarterly, Sport Management Review, Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports, Social Behavior and Personality, Event Management, Journal of Sports Analytics, International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching, etc. His works have been presented at academic conferences, such as North American Society for Sport Management, Sport Marketing Association, European Association for Sport Management, New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports, etc.
His research interests focus on questions about what makes people consume spectator sports as well as when and how people are satisfied with sports consumption. Jun has been serving as a Faculty Athletics Representative as well as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the NCAA D-III Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).
