Destinee Coles is the director of Team & Labor Finance at the National Basketball Association (NBA). In her role, Coles oversees all team-related financial matters, acting as a primary point of contact for NBA CFOs and their staff. She manages the annual NBA CFS (Combined Financial Statement) and BRI (Basketball Related Income) audits in connection with the revenue sharing and salary cap systems, respectively. Her other responsibilities include financial analysis for all arena construction and renovations, oversight of the league’s credit facility which provides teams centralized access to the debt markets, and liquidity planning to ensure the financial health of all 30 NBA teams.
Coles obtained her Masters in Sports Management at Columbia University in 2016 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
