Academic Year (September–May)
Visiting students are not eligible to apply for on-campus housing during the academic year, and students are responsible for finding their own accommodations. Securing housing in NYC can be challenging, and we have provided some resources below to help with the process.
Dormitory space is available during the summer but fills up quickly, so we recommend that you book as early as possible. More information about on-campus summer housing can be found on the Columbia Summer website.
- Columbia University Off-Campus Housing Assistance (OCHA) Office
- Educational Housing Services. A private student residence with single and double rooms available; various locations.
- Manhattan Student Residence. A private student residence, with single and double rooms, located at 95th Street and Broadway.
