Morningside Campus/Limited Access

Andie Hine

Executive Director, Admissions

Andie Hine, Executive Director of Admissions at the School of Professional Studies, has held senior operations and admissions roles at Columbia University for more than 10 years.

Much of her work at SPS focuses on relationship-building and problem-solving. Whether with students, applicants, faculty members, University partners, or colleagues, Andie enjoys making connections, addressing challenges, and helping people accomplish their goals.

As Executive Director, she provides strategic leadership and operational oversight over the admissions teams supporting 17 master’s programs, a diverse portfolio of non-degree programs, high school programs, and the American Language Program in the areas of strategic communication with applicants, management of the online application system, application processing, and decision management. Over her time at Columbia, Andie has also led teams responsible for recruitment, lead cultivation, and academic advising.

Prior to joining Columbia in 2009, Andie held leadership roles within Barnes & Noble retail stores in New York City and the company’s corporate customer service operation.

Andie received a B.A. degree in Psychology and English from Baldwin Wallace University and an M.S. in Information and Knowledge Strategy from Columbia.

In her free time, she enjoys karaoke, cooking, and exploring the arts and culture of New York City.
