Mark Benz

Mark Benz was recently appointed as Head of Group Captives -AXA XL Primary Casualty Americas. Mr Benz's primary responsibility is to lead the Group Captives portfolio including oversight of the underwriting, operations, distribution and overall performance of the unit. 

Mr Benz joins AXA XL from AIG where he most recently served as Head of Captive Solutions. He has nearly two decades of experience leading insurance operations across a variety of sectors, including, credit, energy, and captive solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration Degree majoring in both Finance and Management from the Seton Hall University. He also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
