Mark Ritzmann

Lecturer, Applied Analytics; Senior Director - Advanced Technologies, RGBSI Aerospace & Defense

Dr. Mark Ritzmann has worked in the field of data and analytics for over 20 years. He has worked in the vertical areas of government/public sector, financial services, energy and utilities, healthcare, and telco He has worked for IBM, Oracle, Endeca, and American Express as well as a number of start-ups. He is currently Vice President with the Altran Group, part of Capgemini, in the Software and Digital practice. His current project work includes AI, ML, high performance / supercomputing, edge / cloud technologies and networking technologies. Dr. Ritzmann spearheaded his group's response to the Covid-19 pandemic and led a team that developed the "Are You Well ?" platform that won the prestigious Call for Code competition sponsored by The UN, The Linux Foundation, The Clinton Global Initiative and IBM.

Dr. Ritzmann has conducted primary research in the areas of machine learning, missing data imputation, and decision making under uncertain conditions.
