Help an organization understand the value of data-driven decision-making and ensure your analytics recommendations are implemented.

Due to rapid innovation in data collection and processing technologies, every organization is looking for professionals who can deliver business intelligence through analytics. Columbia University’s Master of Science in Applied Analytics prepares managers and team leaders to make data work through instruction in data science, frameworks, and visualization — as well as leadership, management, and communication.

Study Options in New York City, Online, and San Francisco

The program has four study options: part-time and full-time study primarily on Columbia’s campus in New York City; part-time entirely online via Columbia’s flexible and interactive networked learning platform; and part-time through a combination of online coursework and multi-day intensive study in San Francisco.

“We live in an increasingly data-driven world in which the ability to access data and to conduct sophisticated and value-generating analyses of those data opens up myriad exciting career possibilities. This trend is unstoppable.”David Madigan
