Julio Manyari earned his Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University in 2021. He is originally from Peru, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
He has 10 years of working experience in risk and investments in the financial sector. Julio was the head of the Investment Risk division in a tier-1 insurance company in Peru for 5 years in which his main goal was to adapt his division to international frameworks such as Solvency II and IFRS.
In 2014, Julio obtained the Financial Risk Management (FRM®) certification by GARP association, which is one of the highest standards in financial risk management. He also approved the level 1 of the CFA exam.
In his spare time, Julio enjoys meeting new people and traveling to countries rich in history or natural landscapes. He performs outdoors activities such as jogging, skiing, rafting and scuba diving.
