Alumni, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

Negotiation and Conflict Resolution helps student learn cutting-edge approaches to conflict management. Then put them in action by resolving conflicts while building strong interpersonal relationships.

I am originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and grew up in Rwanda.  My passion for Negotiation and Conflict resolution was reinforced with the need to help people but also by my life experience growing up in between countries that went through civil war and Genocide. I am in the program with the hope to enhance my peacekeeping skills, learn how to negotiate effectively in my career and my personal life. I feel very fortunate to have an opportunity to learn directly from professors that are experts in the field, and also care about their students learning needs, they do their best to help connect students with a mentor and anything that can be helpful to help the student grow.

My expectations as a CDL intern are to learn more about the negotiation industry, get a first-hand experience, learn about the different path I and my fellow colleagues can take to achieve the desired career goals. Moreover, I will use my learned and personal skills to help other students learn more about the program and what they can do to be more successful in their careers.
