Jason Mulholland
Chief Analytics Officer, Big League Advantage (BLA); Lecturer
Jason Mulholland is the Chief Analytics Officer for Big League Advantage (BLA). In this role, he is responsible for determining strategy and priorities while leading the data science team in building statistical and machine learning models across all the company’s sports (NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAAB, MLB, and more). Prior to this role, he led the football team at BLA as the Director of Football Analytics.
Before making the move to BLA, Jason spent four seasons at the New York Jets, beginning as an analyst in the Finance department and ending as the Manager of Football Analytics. In the football analytics role, Jason focused on building statistical models to optimize in-game decision making and to evaluate NFL players and NFL Draft prospects. Meanwhile, in the analyst role, Jason performed analysis related to several areas including ticket pricing and fan behavior.
He earned an M.S. in Applied Analytics from Columbia University and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in statistics and finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jason lives in New Jersey with his wife Danielle, son Parker, and dog Mila.
