Tom Groppe

Lecturer, Strategic Communication; Global Head of Marketing and Communications, Kroll

Tom Groppe is Global Head of Marketing and Communications for the Corporate Finance practice at Kroll. In his role, Tom leads the planning, execution and reporting of all global marketing, communications, PR, branding and sales support for Kroll’s corporate finance practice.

Previously, Tom was Director of Digital Marketing for the management consulting firm Oliver Wyman. While there, Tom constructed Oliver Wyman's digital content marketing strategy and led the relaunch of the firm's digital portfolio. Tom also served as Executive Editor and Vice-President, Digital Media, at The Deal (later acquired by TheStreet.com). 

Tom earned a B.A. from Boston College and an M.S. from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. While at the J-school, Tom was the online editor of the Columbia Journalism Review and a founding designer of the Online News Association.

Tom teaches the Capstone Course.
