Xavier Henderson, a student in the online cohort of the M.S. in Nonprofit Management, was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 North America 2021 list for Social Impact.
The list includes young professionals in the nonprofit sector who successfully leverage business acumen to create positive impact around the world.
The South Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas has the largest number of incarcerated individuals and is listed as one of the unhealthiest areas in Dallas County. As an alum of Teach For America, Xavier Henderson raised money from Camelback Ventures and Echoing Green to increase social mobility and capital for Black residents in his community through the For Oak Cliff organization, where he holds the position of the Director of Strategy.
Henderson is a recipient of the Nonprofit Management Master’s Program Merit Fellowship Award.
