Amyre Brandom-Skinner

Columbia Fellow 2021 | M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution - Xavier University of Louisiana

Amyre Brandom-Skinner is a 2021 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. She is passionate about the interconnectivity of African American culture around the world, education, global equity for women and girls, and working with community and grassroots organizations to advance people to people communications as a core diplomatic strategy. Amyre holds a Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication from Xavier University of Louisiana and plans to leverage her masters degree from the SPS Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program during her career at the US State Department. In addition to her school work, Amyre enjoys traveling and giving back through service. While pursuing her career aspirations, Miss Brandom-Skinner aspires to start a 501c3 organization focused on mentoring minority young girls. Within her daily life and future endeavors, Amyre remains true to her responsibilities of serving and uplifting global communities.
