Rowena Mancheril joined the M.S. in Enterprise Risk Management program at Columbia University in 2019. As a lecturer for ERM Corporate Finance classes, Ms. Mancheril draws upon nine years of corporate finance industry experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as three years of teaching experience. Rowena is a co-founder of RVM Advisors, a software and technology consulting company specializing in bespoke financial and accounting solutions for small businesses and non-profits.
Before joining Columbia University, Rowena headed the accounting team at the 32BJ Legal Services Fund, a non-profit that provides legal assistance to 32BJ union members and their families. Prior to that, she worked in the financial planning group at Prestige Cruise Holdings (PCH), the parent company of the Oceania and Regent Seven Seas cruise lines. She also worked as a Corporate Finance Instructor at City College (Miami Campus) where she taught Corporate Finance and Business Mathematics. Rowena’s expertise lies in designing, prototyping, and automating firm-wide financial reports with an emphasis on cyclical forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Rowena received her M.S. in Corporate Finance as well as an M.S. in International Business from Florida International University in 2010 and has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
