Fall Update

At SPS this fall, all courses, other than pre-established online courses, will be offered face-to-face in our New York City classrooms. Some of these face-to-face courses will be offered in the HyFlex format to ensure that all of our students can make progress toward their degree requirements, if faced with delays due to student visas or vaccination effectiveness wait times.

Pierre Faller, Ed.D., M.B.A.

Lecturer

Pierre Faller, Ed.D., M.B.A., is an organizational development consultant and coach who focuses on helping leaders thrive in increasingly complex, diverse and fast-paced environments. His clients manage successful transitions to cross-functional and C-levels by developing intrapersonal and interpersonal capacities that make an immediate impact on their role and organization. He has coached and consulted to organizations such as Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, WPP, WeWork, Tower Health System, Hitachi USA and Société Générale.

Pierre is also an executive coach and facilitator of several education programs; he has taught graduate courses such as “Executive Coaching,” and “Action Learning Design and Coaching.” Prior to consulting, he was an advertising and marketing executive and held senior marketing positions at TBWA Paris/Omnicom Group and Columbia Business School.

Pierre holds a Doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business as well as a Certification from the ICF-accredited Columbia Coaching Certification Program.

He has authored several books and conference articles exploring the process of transformative learning, including Transformative Learning in the Workplace: Leading Learning for Self and Organizational Change (2012), Transformational Space in Organizations: Exploring Challenges and Supports for Transformational Learning (2015), Creating Time and Space for Transformative Learning in a Cohort-Based Adult Education Doctoral Program (2015) and Quality of Life and Work Demands: A Constructive-Developmental Perspective (2018).
