Naira Musallam

Lecturer; Co-Founder, Sight X

As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Global Affairs at the Center for Global Affairs at New York University, Naira Musallam teaches Applied Statistics, Analytical Skills, National Security and Middle East, and Human Security. Her current research focuses on entrepreneurship and its contributions to positive processes in Global Affairs, the growth of extremism, and factors related to the effectiveness of organizations and individuals working in conflict zones, especially in the Middle East. Naira has over ten years of applied research experience consulting with multiple industries in the private sector on related research projects, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. She is the recipient of awards and scholarships from the Earth Institute, Columbia University, and the U.S Department of State. Naira is fluent in Arabic, Hebrew, and English, and she is an avid traveler and mountain climber.
