Mark E. Mooney

Lecturer, Technology Management

Mark E. Mooney is the Managing Partner for Veramea, which supplies transformational services to organizations undergoing growth and technological change. Mooney is also a Principal for MyEdulife, which provides data governance software to organizations in the field of education.

Previously, Mooney was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at McGraw-Hill Education, where he directed the use of technology to enhance learning, assessment, and other initiatives. Prior to joining McGraw-Hill Education, Mooney was Vice President and CIO for Harcourt Education, Reed Elsevier. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Vivendi Universal’s Houghton Mifflin Company, where he was responsible for the integration of technology between Vivendi and Houghton Mifflin. He has also held senior technology positions at the Bureau of National Affairs and Interactive Marketing Services.

Mooney has been awarded several achievement awards for his efforts related to implementing technology in organizations. In addition to receiving the Babson College Center for Information Management Achievement Award, he was an adjunct professor at George Washington University and was a Fellow at the Change Management Program at John Hopkins University.
